Welcome to the Gate web

This Wiki gives instructions on some processes of GATE, the general access tool to the experimental infrastructure of GSI/FAIR, which manages users and beamtime proposals. In GATE registered users have the opportunity to submit beamtime proposals, experiments are scheduled, experiment teams are entered, and users can register for a stay on the GSI/FAIR campus. Besides those user-related features GATE offers members of the review committees (panels) access to proposals which have been assigned to them for review, after in-house persons have checked the proposals for technical feasibility, safety, etc..
