Memo for preparation before beam time

1--2 week before beam time

• Cabling: 3 HVs, 8 signals, 3 additional lemo (for PMT signal, motor control, motor center), preamp-power.
• Gas connection. check with bubble vessels.
• Check signals with cosmic rays or beta sources.

Before closing the area

• check again whether all cable and gas connection are still ok.
• check whether protection windows are removed
• start gas flow
• Switch on preamp-power
• TPC-in-Air: box for calibration grid should not hit neighboring devices
• TPC-in-vacuum: cables should have enought length for pressure-drives
