The Arnold HV Divider
The
Arnold HV Divider is a high-voltage measurement unit at the electron cooler of CRYRING.
It is connected between the HV platform of the
ElectronCooler and the laboratory ground potential.
The output signal is a frequency proportional to the input with U
max corresponding to 500 kHz and adjustable measurement range of either 0-5 kV or 0-10 kV, the polarity may have both signs.
To use the measured frequencies for experiment analysis, it is strongly recommended to periodically cross-calibrate this device to the
G35VoltageDivider, which is much more precise but very slow.
