Hardware and software specifications
Hardware
Windows XP SP3 PC with PXI-Extension chassis with NI-Multifuction-I/O and NI-RIO boards will be used for development and production.
Deterministic HW I/O
NI-RIO module is used as interface for all fast HW signals. Proposal:

expansion chassis and cDAQ modules for analog input and output.

Software
The unified TCS will use LabVIEW 2011 with DSC- and FPGA-Modules for implementation.
On the production PC the LabVIEW 2011 runtime and TCS executables are installed only.
VISA is used for commincation with serial line interfaces.
Shared Variables are used for communication between device and user interface layer.
