Operation at STF

This page provides information about the operation of the Serial Test Facility at GSI.

General remarks

The STF control system computer should be configured to auto-login the standard user and start all necessary program configured in the auto-start folder. One of these is the STF-Application which reads a configuration file at start-up and launches all required actors at launch.

The most frequently used programs are attached to the start menu.

• SourceTree
  !SourceTree is used to maintain the revision history of source code and configuration data.
• STF-Application
  The STF application is the control system software to used for magnet testing.
