Current design

The InterLAC ComponentList will be updated in this Wiki continuously. Goal for beam operation of InterLAC is Ar8+ at 1.4 MeV /u and 100µA with a pulse length of 200µs. In a 2nd step Xenon beams will be produced. Availability of longer pulse lengths will depend on the capability of the RFQ, which will be tested in Q2/2027.

The beamline design shown above is now (09/26) frozen and based on HLI and SIBAF layouts, with modifications motivated by the availability of components and operational experiences at HLI, HIT, and CNAO.

Project structure

Distribution of informations

Regular meetings are held every two weeks in odd calendar weeks.

A mailing list (interlac-wps) is set up and information is distributed via email and regular meetings on a weekly basis.
