DuT = Device under Test
in general: any hardware which can be tested. Typical examples in our environment:
Cable sets; PCBs of all kinds (Analog and digital I/O, counters, level converters, interfaces....)Even complete electronic systems can be devices under test.
For Accelerator Electronics, there is a hierarchy of interfaces and I/Os.
