• Presentation of meeting slides
  • there will be emails with requests for more details on timelines and resources for project from technical groups
• Discussion about process of decision making (for which scenario to pursue):
  • who is deciding which scenario to pursue and under which criteria?
    --> decision ultimately taken by department head but input from everybody needed and will have impact on criteria!
• Discussion about "favourite" scenario
  • question what the currently "favoured" scenario is
    --> every scenario has certain advantages, for every scenario there is potentially critical information missing --> no clear top candidate, yet --> need to do resource/timeline estimate for all remainig scenarios
  • suggestion to have another meeting to discuss scenarios and see if option can be discarded in discussion --> another meeting will be organised
• EH-scenario very critical from civil engineering (Bau) point of view
  • timeline for dismantling of beamlines in X1-6 and radiation safety clearance for work on caves potentially exceeding target project timeline
  • --> concentrate on HLI/tunnel scenarios (incl. planning of resources)
• Comment that full scope of overall project should be presented to MAC
  • tasks have to be done, which are no clear part of sub-project (e.g., HLI re-commissioning even if InterLAC is built in TU)
