Installing STF Software on Linux

The STF software was tested with LV2015 on Linux. The used box was a virtual machine running Labview 2015 with patch3. Unfortunately it did not work yet. It appears that some locking mechanism of the different LV threads is not working in this application. Still the necessary installation software installation steps are documented for the scientific linux version of linux.

Two scripts document the required steps:

• post_install.sh documents which additional packages have to be installed on a standard scientific linux distribution. This scirpt must typically be executed with super user rights.
• stf_software.sh documents how the stf software is installed.
• Additionally the labview install script must be executed.
