Stipends and Scholarships
HGS-HIRe
A PhD student working at GSI can be funded by third party contracts (ask your supervisor about this possibility). If this is not possible, the student is usually supported by a scholarship with the scholarschiprates given here. At the moment (beginning of 2012) around 70% of the PhD students in the HGS-HIRe graduate school are supported by this scholarship, all the others get support from different institutions.
