Marie Curie Fellowship at CERN
Dear Colleagues,
We would be grateful if you could circulate within your institute the
attached announcement for CERN-based Marie Curie fellowships in the
areas of microelectronics, optoelectronics, and data acquisition.
In addition, we would be grateful if you could actively encourage
applications from good candidates.
Best Regards,

Attached announcement
For Young Researchers: Marie Curie Initial Training Network (ACEOLE)
Research Topics: Microelectronics, optoelectronics, and data acquisition
for the LHC experiments.
As part of the EU-funded 7th Framework Programme, the ACEOLE project is
offering a number of Marie Curie fellowships for young researchers based
at CERN. The focus of the programme is research training.
The researchers will be trained by internationally recognized experts
and have access to state-of-the-art equipment. Hands-on project training
will be supplemented with courses and participation in international
conferences is encouraged. Secondment to one or more of the nine ACEOLE
partners (based in Europe and in the USA) is planned for up to 30% of
each fellowship.
The fellowships will last for up to a maximum of three years and will
offer research training in the application of advanced microelectronics,
optoelectronics, networking and real-time data processing technologies
to ALICE, ATLAS, CMS and LHCb experiments.
