OPC server

System

In Z6 we use a Beckhoff TwinCAT OPC server. The server service starts with bootprocess from PC. You must configure the server as localadmin .


In the next picture you can see the OPC Configurator.

The I/O Device for Z6 has the name TEST. I know, the name is not chosen very happily. But if you want give a better name, all links in LabVIEW^® must be renamed.
In the AutoCfg entry the type "Link to PLC-PC/CX symbol file" is used. The name of sym-file is Z6_Steuerung.SYM . The ADS settings (Port and NetID) are the same as shown in System Manager. The exactly description for OPC configurator you can read in the Beckhoff Information System.

Check with OPC client

To test whether the OPC server functions, you can use the tool OPC client .
