elog - electronic logbook

https://midas.psi.ch/elog is a web application developed at PSI.

We host a central server with multiple separated instances of elog at https://elog.gsi.de.

Sandbox

The elog instance https://elog.gsi.de/sandbox is intended for testing (→ self-registration).

Instance management

New elog instances can be requested via email to web-service@gsi.de.

After creation the new instance has to be configured as described in https://midas.psi.ch/elog/config.html

1. Register yourself
2. Limit configuration by editing the config via web interface (Config → Change Config File → Change [global]):
   Admin user = yourself
3. Turn of self registration if desired: Self register = 0
